Cell Therapy

Cell therapy describes the process of introducing new cells into a tissue in order to treat a disease. Cells are obtained from specific organs or tissues that correspond with the unhealthy organs or tissues of the recipient. The organs and glands used in cell treatment include the brain, pituitary, thyroid, adrenals, thymus, liver, kidney, pancreas, spleen, heart, ovary, testis, and parotid.
